	Headlines July 1st, 2004 I know many of you have e-mailed me with concerns regarding my health and personal issues that I have been facing. I sincerely appreciate all of the correspondence and concern. This has been a difficult 7 months. In fact, it has been a very difficult year for me. One that I would really like to forget. I apologize for not being more prompt with my updates to this site. I am continually amazed at how many of you read my news page. Your interest in my family and my business is greatly appreciated. Many of my friends have told me that I would be stronger after all of this. That may indeed be the case. I have been blessed in many ways. I am reminded of this when I see my children. My health is much better and I have made many "new" friends. Mikeska's Was Proud To Have Served The 4TH Infantry Division from Fort Hood At The Dell Diamond The 4th ID was the Division that captured Saddam Hussein ! Col. Kevin Stramara, Commander of the 4th ID Artillery "Iron Gunners" is shown signing Timothy's Medal of Honor Audie Murphy GI Joe. Colonel Stramara also threw out the first pitch at the Dell Diamond following the Bar-B-Q Dinner. Catering for the Governor of Texas on a Beautiful Spring Day Mikeska's served almost 4,000 guests on the grounds of the State Capitol in Austin. Timothy's arm was a little tired after serving many glasses of tea. Timothy was Featured in the Summer 2004 Issue of the National CCA's Rising Tide Magazine. This publication is dedicated to Coastal Conservation and features articles for children and young adults. Here is the Black Drum that Cousin Nick Mikeska and Timothy caught on Spring Break in Port O'Conner Texas. Catering Fried Catfish the "Old Fashioned Way" Mikeska's recently had a request to cater a Fried Catfish Dinner using our old style kettle cookers. This brought back many memories. Mikeska's also served 3,000 guests using our new USDA "Mikeska Brand" Brisket and Sausage. Crowds were very complimentary of these new slow smoked products. Cousins Gerry and Nick display Uncle Maurice's Imperial Elk at Mikeska's Smokehouse in El Campo Texas. I had the pleasure of attending my Aunt Martha Vanecek's Birthday Party in El Paso Texas. She is shown in the middle with her children Mary, Thomas, Benny and Michael along with her many grandchildren. Timothy at the recent R.O.T. Bike Rally in Austin Texas. Playing the game that his dad has played since age 3. Notice his concentration, his weight shift, his head position, and his left arm. Tiger Woods.... had better be prepared for Timothy Mikeska !
