This is one of my cherished pictures of my dad and I on Christmas Day 1961. Here he looks like he's the happiest man alive. I now know exactly how he feels....

Bosnia Update

The trip is confirmed. We will be departing Austin with a stop in Germany and then on to Eagle Base Tuzla. I have already informed the staff in Bosnia of the items that they will need to have ready. We are preparing a "Texas Style" Bar-B-Q for around 1,500 guests celebrating July 4, 2000. This is going to be very interesting. I will post updates regarding the planning and progress of our "mission"

We're standing next to a military C-130 cargo plane about to depart with Rudy Mikeska's Bar-B-Q on board. I want you to know what this guy looks like so you can find him if I don't make it back.

Nick, Tim, Gerry, Anna, Stephen, and Angela on the slopes at Crested Butte Colorado. Shortly after this picture was taken, one of us, was injured and had to be medicated with Jose Quervo tequila. Can you guess who it was?
