Chef Bobby Flay brings his popular "Food Nations" Program to Tim Mikeska's Home

Tim Mikeska and his family welcomed The Food Networks; Chef Bobby Flay to their home in Taylor to film the popular "Food Nations" Program.

Here Bobby reacts to some great smoked lamb loin prepared by Tim Mikeska at home.

The Food Networks Production Crew were hungry and ready to eat. Here is Bobby cutting some of the Smoked Leg of Lamb, Lamb Short Loin, Beef Brisket, Baby Back Pork Ribs, and Mikeska Brand Spicy Pork Sausage.

Here is Tim cutting for the acoustic band: "Bluegrass Vatos" that accompanied the production crew .

Bobby keeps eating while the producer and director prepare for the next scene.

Finally time to Eat!!! Bobby and friend Dana sit with Candy Mikeska and some of the Food Network staff.

Tim and Bobby get ready for Bar-B-Q Pit scene where Tim places Brisket, Sausage, Lamb and Baby Back Pork Ribs on the SP-500 Mobile Pit.

Here is Candy holding her niece Sarah and talking to Dana during a pause in filming.

The "Bluegrass Vatos" from Austin get ready to close the show.

The last scene.... Friends and family gather in the dining room to eat and listen to country music while Bobby and Tim close the show.

We had a great time hosting Bobby and his crew in our home today. These pictures are just a few images of small parts of this production. We were unable to take pictures during the actual filming. The program starts with Bobby and Tim in his home kitchen mixing seasoning rubs, preparing Bar-B-Q sauce, and Tim's Mother's (Joy Mikeska) cole slaw recipe. This portion also includes candid conversation with Bobby about the Mikeska legacy of Texas Bar-B-Q. Everyone had a great time and we all ended up making a "party" out of the filming.
