FoodNation Program Featuring Tim Mikeska is now on it's 5th replay.

The FoodNations Program With Chef/Host Bobby Flay that featured Tim Mikeska and his friend Capt. Shawn Newsom has been repeated 4 times since it's initial airing date of February 6th.

Both Shawn and I have been very surprised at the amount of correspondence we have received concerning this program. I have received over 180 e-mail's regarding the show. The executives at the Food Network have also been surprised by the amount of requests for replay of the program. The recipe search engine located at the Food Networks Website has seen a lot of activity. There have been thousands of requests (hits) for our recipes that were shown on the program.

Texas Department of Transportation's Safety Awards Fish Fry in Burnet Texas

Rudy Mikeska's served over 400 hungry TXDOT personnel in Burnet Texas.

400 Hungry men ate over 400 lbs. Of our Farm Raised Catfish

Our Catering Trailer cooked 400 lbs. of Catfish and 70 lbs. of Jalapeno Hushpuppies in less that 90 minutes!!

Rudy Mikeska's was proud to cater the Temple College (at Taylor) Mardi Gras Fundraising Banquet

Our menu included..... Smoked Pork Loin, Mushroom Red Wine Gravy, Hot Czech Potatoes, Fresh Steamed Green Beans, Ambrosia Fruit Salad with Fresh Kiwi and Strawberries, Homebaked Bavarian Dark Bread, Honey Wheat Bread and.....

Our Homebaked Breads have been popular with our customers for 16 years.

We had a lot of compliments on this event. The $ 100 per couple cost raised a substantial amount of money for our local college.
