Rudy Mikeska's Bar-B-Q serves the Texas State legislature

This event was blessed with perfect weather for the present and past members of the Texas House of Representatives.

This event had numerous private pilots flying their own vintage aircraft to Jim Schwertner's ranch to enjoy fellowship and good food. The Ribeye Steaks were cooked "On Location" and served hot off the pit.

New Austin Convention Centers "Topping Out Party".

800 VERY HUNGRY workers were treated to Rudy Mikeska's Bar-B-Q at this event for SpawGlass Construction. The lower left picture shows workers signing the final steel beam that will be raised to the top of the super structure. Tim Mikeska was invited to sign this beam. ( On this date Mikeska's Bar-B-Q, from Taylor Texas, was here serving lunch.....) The picture on the upper left shows the beam being raised to top of the super structure.

Rudy Mikeska's Bar-B-Q is again used for another major motion picture being filmed in Taylor

"The Rookie" is being filmed in Taylor and Rudy Mikeska's building on West 2nd Street was used as a back drop. The Walt Disney Production stars actor Dennis Quaid. This is the 4th movie to be filmed on Mikeska Family property in downtown Taylor. We were also pleased to serve our Texas Bar-B-Q to the actors, production staff, extras and the entire movie company.
